Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant / Case Manager (Bilingual Spanish)

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant / Case Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping injured workers navigate the legal process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workers' compensation cases from intake through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, legal correspondence, settlement documents, and discovery
  • Track deadlines and ensure compliance with WCAB procedures
  • Review medical records, deposition transcripts, and subpoenas
  • Coordinate with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance representatives
  • Monitor medical treatment, benefits, and lien issues
  • Assist with hearing preparation and case management
  • Maintain organized case files and proactively move cases forward

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of California Workers' Compensation experience preferred
  • Applicant-side experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
